The Board of Trustees facilitates the university’s connections with business and the public. The Board of Trustees is established in accordance with the Higher Education Act in the Republic of Bulgaria. It assists the university in ensuring effective and transparent governance and in providing high-quality education and training. The Board of Trustees consists of 8 members—donors to the university, public figures, representatives of employers, professional associations, and industry organisations, representatives of the student council, the municipality where the university is headquartered, and the Minister of Education and Science.
